It has gives an overview of thoughts of the different.

Here is the link to the manifesto of hedonist international (click here). So, I usually spell out my first name or pronounce it as 'Aneesh' to make life easier for all

I can speak, read and write English and Hindi; speak terrible Malayalam; read Sanskrit and make little sense; read arabic and make zero sense

If I am too sweaty or feel dirty, I need necessarily take a bath (even if the water is cold)

I don't take milk, tea, shakes or anything that reminds me of milk (exceptions: milk cakes, ice-creams)

Am a huge fan of WWE and also like watching Tom & Jerry. 'He' (may be 'She'..but lets not get into a sex-gender argument) had nothing to do and he was bored 'playing' with himself :P. So, he decided to play another game.

He took of matter from his body, and created the universe. Then he took some more matter from his body and created life-forms. Very intelligently, he wiped off the memory of all he created (or rather redesigned). So, none of the life-forms and none of the non-living know that they themselves are God as they are a part of the native.

So, people are born, they grow, they fuck, they fight, they fuck, and then they fucking die irrespective of their fucking intelligence or fucking wealth or both. And all this time their 'original' self referred to as 'God' is busy watching and enjoying the whole game.

Hence, the analogy:

1) There is no 'God', but 'me'
2) There is no 'me', but 'God'
3) I am 'God' and 'God' is 'me' (or there is no 'God' and no 'me')

So, basically 'I' am the creator, I am the created. I, the creator, is watching those naive-created act on the stage called world. So, I am the spectator and I am the spectated.

So, next time you see a beggar, dont pity; for self-pity is not good. Next time you envy someone, remember you are envying yourself. Nothign and Everthing are part of the same entity.

Life is an aberration, because it doesn't exist at the first place. October this year(two zero zero seven), it was a unique birthday for me. As usual, quite a few people called me up that day to congratulate and express their wishes. What made the difference was the way I spent the whole day.

Never before had I participated in volunteer work for a whole day together and that in such an organised fashion. An NGO by the name Bhumi had organised this program.

Osmania Government Hospital, Hyderabad is frequented by many patients specially from the lower and the lower middle class. Many of them are illiterate and hence find it difficult to make their way through the different medical departments. The idea was to paint some symbols on each department so that people can just have a look at them and recognize the place they need to go to. Cleaning the hospital wards was also taken up along side.

Patients come in all sizes

and so do volunteers !!!

I was interested in the painting work and was told that after the cleaning of the wards was done with, I could get some painting work too. Me along with Srihari and three other guys from a local engineering college here took up the task to clean up a ward. This ward called MMC or MM5 was located on the ground floor and was a big room that had as many as 20 beds. All the beds were occupied and each patient has on average atleast three visitors. So, in all there were 60-70 people in the room. We first swept the floor on the left side(from the entrance), then cleaned the windows, swept the floor again, cleaned the floor and walls with phenyl water, and then mopped the floor. The same was repeated for the windows and floor on the right side. And then it done for the center of the room. I tried my hands on sweeping the floor, cleaning the walls windows and the switchboards, washing the floor and mopping it. So, in all I have now gained lots of experience in cleaning a room :D

Masks, gloves and aprons that we wore for while cleaning. Also visible, on the extreme right, are the brooms. Srihari and me were not game to wear the masks, but a doctor there insisted we do lest we become patients by contracting infections.

The whole episode took about 2-3 hrs and we were all a bit tired. Then there was this man aged about 30, who came up to me and said "You did a good job". I believe he was referring to the overall initiative to clean the hospital and I just hope he thinks the same about my sweeping and mopping abilities :P

Anyways, me and Srihari then went to the organisers to see if we could get hold of some painting work. But alas !!! these people had managed to get around 150 volunteers and my painting job was attended to by someone else :(

That's Srihari...I too liked his tee !!!!!

Srihari then spoke to Rakesh (of Bhumi) about the candle light vigil in the evening. According to an estimate, nearly 30 farmers commit suicide in India EVERDAY. Rakesh had filed an RTI regarding government policies towards farmers and steps these policies warrants them to take to bring the suicides to a halt.

There were about 100 people for the candle light vigil which was organized near the 'Necklace Road'.

People formed a long human chain alongside of the footpath held placards and banners. When it started getting dark candles were distributed.

Because of the mild wind and limited number of chimneys, it was difficult to keep the candles burning. So, I abandoned my candle and shot pictures of those who were trying to light theirs.

All people then assembled at a place and the candles were placed on the ground. A few enlightened citizens spoke for the cause and poems were recited.

Policy makers are turning a blind eye towards the plight of the poor - be it farmers, weavers or daily wage laborers. Even after sixty 'glorious' years of Indian independence, the majority are still in an attempt to free themselves vicious trap of poverty and hunger.

I sincerely hope something positive comes out of this vigil and moreover everyone realizes that these lines of Mahatma Gandhi still hold true today - "Be the change u want to see in the world".

Some random pictures shot at the hospital premises

Bashing

Ok..this is what i stumbled upon surfing net. That's a huge amount, considering the following facts:

for me any amount is huge. I don't discriminate between what I get for free, what I win as a prize or what I earn

I don't remember winning cash prize before (had won some Candico competition and received a box of assorted candies, bubble gums)

Trivia

we relied on borrowed stuff for all the requirements

actors were paid in chocolates(though a couple of them were taken out once for a celebration dinner)

the role of director, cameraman, video editor, sound editor and spot boys were performed by Kunal, Parambir and myself

the movies were edited using Windows Media Player (on a pirated Windows XP), and for video format conversion and sound editing we cracked a few softwares which otherwise wouldn't have rendered their services for free

No royalty was paid for the sound and video clips used

there was no entry/registration fee and also no taxes were paid

Kunal did a wonderful job of sound editing for both the movies (i too contributed a bit), and Parambir solely handled the camera for the first movie (at that time we didn't have a camera-stand and he had to keep is hand still while me and Kunal were playing our parts were on the other side of the screen)..luckily we were able to manage a camera-stand for the second movie..so I took charge of the shooting lens

Fatal Attraction wouldn't come out so beautiful if we lacked Harshal's inputs, Akshay's and Bushra's superb acting skills and of course my idea and management skills :D

Here are the links to the movies on Google Video:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6753103366865919905 (we didn't name this movie, rather forgot I should say)

Fatal Attraction: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4217783452293935769

Happy watching !!!

<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/get_player" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"width="320" height="266" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"flashvars="flvurl=http://v14.nonxt4.googlevideo.com/videoplayback?id%3D2b328b667acb8458%26itag%3D5%26app%3Dblogger%26ip%3D0.0.0.0%26ipbits%3D0%26expire%3D1331993177%26sparams%3Did,itag,ip,ipbits,expire%26signature%3D751B3E22ADADA73F737EA1DCDC054585BD26D41C.23D439D60A75AC69EF06398CB4CD44FB8BAFF5A4%26key%3Dck1&iurl=http://video.google.com/ThumbnailServer2?app%3Dblogger%26contentid%3D2b328b667acb8458%26offsetms%3D5000%26itag%3Dw160%26sigh%3DFz1Ge0GtzbUD2I-r20Ad3QxnFsY&autoplay=0&ps=blogger"allowFullScreen="true" />

Shot in the year 2006, this was the first movie to be rolled out by the group 'Ingenious Morons' . After going through it, am now more determined to get into lateral thinking. Its all about thinking without any pre-conceived notions...something like 'thinking out of the box'.

Search the net on lateral thinking and many a interesting articles as well as challenging questions can be found.

Here the story goes.............. (between the dotted blue lines)

------------------------------------------------------------

Teacher asked her student,"Boy. what is your problem?"

Boy. answered, "I'm too smart for the first-grade.My sister is in the third-grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in the third-grade too!"

Ms Radhika had enough. She took Boy. to the Principal's office. While Boy waited in the outer office, the teacher explained to the principal what the situation was. The principal told Ms.Radhika he would give the boy a test and if he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the first-grade and behave. She agreed. Boy was brought in and the conditions were explained to him and he agreed to take the test.

Principal: "What is 3 x 3?"
Boy.: "9".
Principal: "What is 6 x 6?"
Boy.: "36".
And so it went with every question the principal thought a third-grade should know. The principal looks at Ms.Radhika and tells her, "I think Boy can go to the third-grade."

Ms.Radhika says to the principal, "I have some of my own questions. Can I ask him ?" The principal and Boy. both agree.
Ms.Radhika asks, "What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?

Boy., after a moment "Legs."

Ms.Radhika : "What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?"

Boy.: "Pockets."

Ms.Radhika : What starts with a C and ends with a T, is hairy, oval, delicious and contains thin whitish liquid?
Boy.: Coconut

Ms.Radhika : What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft And sticky? The Principal's eyes open really wide and before he could stop the answer, Boy was taking charge.
Boy.: Bubblegum

Ms.Radhika : What does a man do standing up, a woman does sitting down and a
dog does on three legs? The Principal's eyes open really wide and before he could stop the answer...
Boy.: Shake hands

Ms.Radhika: Now I will ask some "Who am I" sort of questions, okay?
Boy.: Yep.

Ms.Radhika : You stick your poles inside me. You tie me down to get me up. I get wet before you do.

Boy.: Tent

Ms.Radhika : A finger goes in me. You fiddle with me when you're bored. The best man always has me first. The Principal was looking restless, a bit tense and took one large Patiala Vodka peg.

Boy.: Wedding Ring

Ms.Radhika: I come in many sizes. When I'm not well, I drip. When you blow me, you feel good.

Boy.: Nose

Ms.Radhika : I have a stiff shaft. The Maya Indians of Central America are believed to have invented the concept of the zero before the AD 300's. We Indians developed the concept independently several hundred years later( after all we are good at re-inventing stuffs....we (re)invented our own desi language (read Hinglish), baked spicy pizzas with paneer toppings, remixed old classical songs to the beats of Micheal Jackson and what all) . The idea spread from India and was adopted in Europe during the late 1400's in the same way as they have started adopting our IIT graduates. And thus, the concept of ‘0’ was our last significant contribution to the world other than population.

The number '0' is like a reproductive agent for numbers. Go on adding it after any single digit that itself is non-zero and one will wangle up a number that's ever increasing in its length and obviously magnitude. But, I am not writing about the number zero this time, instead I would like to jot down the essence of the number '3' in my life. This number has a pivotal role to play in my life right from the day I was born. I have 2 elders brothers and 0 younger brothers and sisters which implies my parents had 3 children in all and that I was the 3rd. My academic career took a U turn when I was in class 3. From the dumbest of dumb who could not even perform fundamental arithmetic, I became one of the contenders for the first position. It was in class sixth when I topped my class and as well as the entire section. For two more consecutive years I topped the sections. So, in all I topped my class and section in all 3 times.

My wedlock with this sacred number doesn’t end here. Like most of the Tom, Dick and Hari in my school, I decided to opt for the science stream. My inclination towards engineering was not in anyways natural. Infact it was not even artificial. Rather, it was all out of compulsion. My dream to become a doctor had faded away when I first tasted biology in sixth grade. I found it utterly boring and I gave away the idea of being a doctor though the gravy in being a gynecologist still haunts me.

I started preparing for PET (pre-engineering test) so that I could anyhow get into any of the NITs while my parents hoped I would find my place in IIT (all are 3-letter acronym). I had an AIR -93 in PET and a chance to get into NITs and IIIT Allahabad and IIITM Gwalior. But fate lead me to DA-IICT (not a 3-letter acronym and hence not sacred for me).

‘First year is rest year’ and so was the second. So, it was all dedicated to playing computer games (AOE and CS). Also, I set new records of mine own in my favorite sport i.e sleeping.

I scored a SPI of 2.53 in the 1st and 2nd semester and 2.52 in the third. So, in all I held a CPI of 2.53 for 3 semesters. This semester I had a score of 2.04 :-(.

After getting inhumanly screwed in all the 4 semesters, I now know that only GRE or IIM(see a 3 letter acronym) can now help me fend food for my wife and kids (I plan for the future) as the mere score card of DA-IICT will not work wonders for me. Besides no company is gonna hire me for the number of hours spent on playing AOE or writing blogs or ogling babes.

After the first two semesters, I nurtured only 3 dreams – SEX , AOE, GRE (all 3 lettered). But now my priorities have changed. After spending 2 years in DA-IICT, I know that its easier to clear GRE or excel in AOE rather than getting SEX. So my priorities are now as follows - GRE, AOE and if remotely possible SEX (Most of the babes of DA-IICT are the non-fuckable kind....and the ones that are already have their platters full).

The number 3 is not sacred for me nor is it a sign of bad omen. But, I dunno why it has anchored with me. Is it the fault of my perception or is it that people are indeed born with some numbers associated. Whatever it be - a number or a sun-sign, my destiny is in my own hands. Nothing is in the numbers, they themselves are the creations of mankind. Before Inventing wheel, man invented numbers and before inventing numbers man invented GOD.

The Fruit of 4th sem is bitter

Oh Gooooosh !!

All the time this semester(like the previous semesters), I cared less to pay heed to the advice of my inner self that I needed to honeymoon with my course books more often or else my grade sheet will be ornamented with something that is vaguely circular in shape and resembles a zero (read 'D'). This ornament is something that one has to adorn not by ones own choice or will but at the whims and fancies of some 'learned' people, better known as teachers or professors or faculties in the academia circle and 'mass-rapists' in the student circle.

This time lady luck ditched me when I needed her the most. Grades are at an all time low. Its not because of my unquestionable labour in CS and AOE, but the credit goes to the breed of my those 'friends' who are rendered impotent when they find a Prof referring to previous years examination papers to set the questionnaire for the current semester.

Also the credit goes to the Profs themselves, who distribute grades depending on their mood. The mood that swings in accordance to the taste of the breakfast that better(or worse) half of their life prepares or if the plumber has mended the bathroom tap or has the share market reverted back to its old ways of operation inspired by a drunkard or if their mother-in-law is gonna visit them for a time period that stretches from a month to infinity.

Still I am thankful to the group of those learned people who unknowingly taught me that its better to pronounce words as they are meant to be or else one would land up inventing or restructuring words that 'sound impressive but makes no sense' to the listeners. For eg. vertical becomes 'bartical', curve sounds as 'karve', 'bhase' for base and Mitra is incarnated as 'Mithda'. So, the students end up doing 2 courses simultaneously - PAS and a new breed of langauge that derives its origin from 'Angreji' and 'Bengali'. Infact, the same holds true for DBMS as well.

I am not cowed down by the results of this semester, nor do I frown for this result may have some effects in my further career. Life goes on till one is alive. Life imbibes in itself struggles and success. Success that may be preceded by a long spell of failures, failures that may have struggle as a pre-requisite. And whatever we are fated to -success or failure- we learn, we emerge stronger, we become more determined to face unchallenged situations, bear unparalleled agony and enjoy the joyous moments that define the very purpose of our existence . Moreover, we become acquainted with ourselves -our strength, our weakness, our breakdown junctures- and this is what I guess is imperative to complete the journey called LIFE.

Pune RoCks !!! but Job SuCkS

Thought it would be a fairy tale affair at the internship- new city, loads of preety faces of the fairer sex, visit to pubs, dance bars and may be occasional passtime work with an upcoming software gaint (read Persistent Systems.) and and what all ?? When I bath, I feel as if I am a 'shiv ling', the only difference being that the thin flow of milk is compensated by a thick outflow of water. It seems as if the the landlord had a vague notion of a shower being an arrangement in which water falls on your head. So, I guess he poked a hole in the roof and let the gravity act on the liquid. I won't go into the details about the four walled enclousre only where including me the six homosapiens of my block are supposed to move their bowels. But, I would like to add that when you contribute yout lot to the bowl and turn the knob of the flush, the waterfall seems reluctant to work.

Thought Pune would be a better route to escape the height of desperation and frustration of my college life. Parag says Pune houses many beautiful girls and himanshu says he is gonna try to woo as many of them till he succeeds in knowing the figure and size of undies of atleast one of them. And me?? Well, am single but not sick and rest I prefer not to write about myself and my demonly desires !!!

Again 'Man Proposes and God Disposes'. Our mentor expects us to work like an ass. I guess, even if we do 25% of what he expects from us, we will learn a lot and that our resume would have much more good and knowledgeable look.

Am on job and the firm pays me 3000 bucks and feeds me to work and not to write for mine or someone elses delight. It doesnt seem to work in regards to my whims and fancies. So, I need to get back to the job...

MegaFest-2005 The Aftermath !!

Yesterday, the Synapse (read MegaFest) team threw a party for the (so-called) volunteers of the same. Though, I am sure atleast 20 % of the crowd wouldn't have even shook their asses for the fest, yet they were dying to do so at the beats of a local DJ yesterday night.

It was a 30 in walk from campus to City Pulse, the prescribed venue for the 'party' which also houses a Multiplex. As I entered the venue, it was easy for me to spot a pretty girl in mini. Besides, her were some branded 'cool' guys armed with guitars. They were a Band performing for the delight of the onlookers and the mob which floods towards the gate after every show ends. I was told that such Bands perform there every Saturday and Sunday. I found them pretty good, partly because of the girl and the rest because of the music they played.

At the main entrance, Pawan stood distributing entry tickets and striking names of those who received the same. The queue was short enough for me to have my entry ticket within a few minutes. To enter into the main arena, one had to give the ticket to a staff personal of the venue, who would then mark a what was supposed to be an icon of the sun on your palm for identification purposes. It reminded me of the system that Americans have adopted to enhance their security- to get finger print of every person who is not from the lineage of Uncle Sam at the airport itself. I found this marking system humiliating and objected. But, rules are rules though they may have been framed without giving any thought. Pawan asked me to bear the mark and I obliged..I didn't want to miss the excitement that was going inside...for it was the my first chance to a disco.

I had the the logo marked not on my palm but on the upper face of my right hand. Inside the partying arena, it was too dark to even recognize the familiar faces. The hall was lit up with violet tubelights in which anything white would shine. This lighting effect was so remarkably fantastic that all the girls could be distinguished by the upper half of their lingerie and Sandy sir by his vest. And we guys there were acquainted of the fact that white undies still was the star choice of the fairer sex. Earlier, I had anticipated my failure to recognize most of the female faces as they would have been altered by make-up to an extent that even renowned Plastic Surgeons would envy the Indian beauty parlours. But, now I could easily make out who was who not by their cosmetic faces but by the coverings of their assets !

People evolve their own ways to adapt to circumstances. Gujarat is a theoretically a 'dry state', so expecting beer or any sort of liquor in the party was like dreaming of laying Pamela Anderson(concentrate on this post, you can ogle at the picture later on). Mocktails substituted cocktails, and chicken legs were replaced by fried cakes. The mocktail was vanilla flavored and seemed to have mild soda mixed to it. Whatever it was, every one was busy gulping it down.

The crowd made me feel sick and I remembered the girl in the mini skirt. I went to listen the band again. They were playing the hit song "Dooba dooba rehta hun...ankhon main teri" ( I am drowning in your eyes) by Silk Route. This song comforted me and all those who listened to it. There was a round of applause for the performance. They then started playing an English number that was alien to me and I decided that it better remain the same. I again went to the Disco just to find the many of my friends swaying to the beats of DJ.

The DJ seemed to be running an interactive aerobics session. Time and again he would ask the dancers to sway their hand, pull it up in the air or sing out loudly. Every one on the dance floor paid heed to his commands as if it would help them shed their weights and work wonders for them.

Indians are the worst dancers and their is no denial of this fact. I was a testimony to the performance of my own friends. There was a Oranjee and some others doing bhangra on a English number. While a group was trying to devise their own dance steps, a batchmate of mine (let call him Joe) was busy capturing a girl ( lets call her Kanu) in his camera. He would go near her, adjust the optical zoom for a while and then take his time to click her pic. He did so for about seven times from different angles but only about a feet or two away from her. And all this while I was a hoping that Kanu would bang his face. But, man proposes and God disposes. All expectations aren't to be fulfilled. There was no reaction either from the girl or from her 'male' friends.

Being a part of the mob changes the entire personality of a person, his attitude towards others. The collective feeling of a 'deaf and dumb' herd alters the level of degrees of freedom and sense of fear. While Joe might have thought that Kanu would not refrain him from taking her pics as it was supposed to be a public place of enjoyment, Kanu might have thought that being surrounded by so many people she could easily raise an alarm if and when required. Would she have reacted in the same way if she was in the campus or in her home or did Joe had the balls to do the same he did under the cover of darkness and people. Whatever be the reason, this guy shot an instant fame for this 'daring' act. Many including my roommate was enquiring about the pics.

Have Lots more to shit about yesterday here..

but time constrain....

feeling hungry...Brijwasi calling

Blog Virginity Breached (my first blog ever)

Have been think of writing a book or at least a short story since a long time, but never ever attempted......No, it wasn't the fear of it being not sold or me not being able to find a publisher...........rather, the credit goes to my laziness.
